How We Work

In large-scale projects, good cooperation between different organizations and community members is one of the keys to success. Senior Program Manager Dhan Rai (right) interacts with a community member of a forest user group weighing bel fruits at a community centre in Khata, Bardia.

WWF Nepal's Strategic Plan is built on the WWF's global mission and priorities, and addresses nature conservation issues relevant to Nepal and the world.

It contains a long-term vision (20 Years), and short-term objectives (2002- 2006) that focus efforts and resources in priority areas of action that most closely reflect the capacity and mission of WWF.

WWF Nepal's programs are implemented in close-partnership with government, non-government organizations (NGOs) and community based organizations (CBOs), recognizing that effective and long-lasting conservation is possible only through working together.
